Terms and conditions for booking Vestfjord Sauna

Membership Payment Terms

Membership is offered as either monthly or annual payment, and provides access to unlimited use of shared sessions as long as the membership is active.

There is no commitment period, and membership can be terminated at any time via your user profile or by contacting us. Upon termination, access will last until the end of the current paid period (month or year).

Important:

No refunds are given on purchased memberships, whether upon termination, lack of use, or other circumstances.

The membership is personal and cannot be transferred or used by anyone other than the purchaser. Misuse may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.

Monthly Pass - Booking Limitations

Booking Rule:

With a monthly pass, you can only book 1 time per day for shared bookings.

This ensures that all members get fair access to the saunas and prevents abuse of the system.

If you want to use the sauna multiple times on the same day, you must purchase extra shared tickets or private booking.

Maintenance and Alternative Sauna

In case of planned maintenance or unforeseen technical problems at your local sauna, we will offer you access to the nearest alternative sauna at no extra cost.

You will be informed about maintenance at least 48 hours in advance via email or SMS, and receive an offer for an alternative location or time.

Service Guarantee:

We ensure that you always have access to a sauna when your membership is active.

Membership Misuse

The membership is only valid for the person who has purchased or ordered it. It is not allowed to share the membership with other people or let others use it on your behalf.

Consequences of misuse:

Upon proven misuse of the membership, it will be temporarily suspended until all unpaid guests have paid their dues.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Letting others use your membership
  • Sharing login details with others
  • Booking on behalf of others without payment
  • Circumventing booking limitations

Upon repeated misuse, the membership may be permanently terminated without refund.

1. General Terms

Vestfjord Sauna is operated under Badstuegruppen AS (Org. no. 935 097 231). By booking a sauna experience at Vestfjord Sauna, you accept our terms. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with these before booking.

3. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings must be prepaid to confirm the reservation.
  • Payment is made via Vipps or Stripe.
  • The amount is charged immediately upon booking.
  • Once payment is completed, you will receive a confirmation by email.

4. Delivery

Booking a sauna involves a service delivered at an agreed time.

The customer receives immediate confirmation after booking.

Important:

Vestfjord Sauna is a place for peace, health and wellness. Use of the sauna for parties, loud music or consumption of alcohol while intoxicated is not permitted. Violation of these guidelines may result in immediate eviction without refund.

In case of vandalism, littering or other negligent use that results in extra costs for the lessor, the lessee will be held financially responsible. This may result in claims for damages or fees according to Norwegian law.

5. Cancellation and Refund

  • Cancellation must occur no later than 12 hours before the booked time to receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations after this time will not be refunded.
  • To cancel, contact us at post@vestfjordsauna.no.

6. Booking Changes

  • If you wish to change the time of your booking, this must be done no later than 12 hours before.
  • Changes can only be made if there are available times.

7. Right of Withdrawal

When purchasing services, a 14-day right of withdrawal normally applies, but according to the Withdrawal Act § 22, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services delivered at a specific time.

Sauna experiences are considered such a service, and the right of withdrawal therefore does not apply after the booking is confirmed.

8. Sauna Usage

  • The sauna must be used in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Alcohol and drugs are not allowed.
  • Use a towel on the benches inside the sauna.
  • Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Vestfjord Sauna is not responsible for injuries that occur as a result of negligent use.

9. Service Defects - Buyer's Rights and Complaints

  • If the service is not delivered as agreed, the customer has the right to demand compensation or refund.
  • The complaint deadline is 14 days after the booking is completed.
  • For complaints, contact us at post@vestfjordsauna.no and provide booking details.

10. Weather Conditions and Operational Stoppage

  • In case of extreme weather conditions or unforeseen technical problems, we reserve the right to cancel bookings.
  • If we cancel, you will be offered a new time or full refund.

11. Privacy

  • We only store necessary information to complete the booking.
  • Personal information is treated confidentially and is not shared with third parties.

When you register your interest in becoming a co-owner of Vestfjord Sauna, we collect and process certain personal information. We take your privacy seriously, and this statement explains how we handle your data.

What information do we collect?

We collect the following information through our forms (e.g., Facebook Lead Ads, website, etc.):

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Answers to qualification questions
  • Any comments you leave

How do we use the information?

Your information is used only for the following purposes:

  • Contact you with more information about the investment opportunity in Vestfjord Sauna
  • Send you relevant information about ownership, campaigns or launches
  • Analyze and improve the campaign based on interest and engagement

We only send information you have consented to receive. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Who has access to your data?

Only authorized persons in the Vestfjord Sauna team (or our trusted partners who assist with investor information and marketing) have access to your data.

Your information will never be sold or shared with third parties without your permission.

How long is the information stored?

We store your information as long as it is relevant for the purpose – normally until the investment campaign is completed and any communication is finalized, unless you give consent for further newsletters or ownership information.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to what data we have about you
  • Have data corrected or deleted
  • Withdraw consent
  • Complain to the Data Protection Authority if you believe your rights are not being upheld

12. Conflict Resolution

  • In case of a dispute, we follow the Consumer Authority's recommendations.
  • If the parties cannot agree, the case may be brought before the Consumer Authority or the Consumer Complaints Board.
  • Disputes shall be resolved according to Norwegian law, and any legal disputes shall be decided in Norwegian courts.
