Looking for the truly authentic sauna experience? By the mirror-still waters of Lake Grimevatnet, you’ll enjoy a wood-fired sauna experience amid scenic natural surroundings. Calm settles in the moment you spark the stove to life, and here you can of course throw water on the stones, also known as löyly (sauna steam).

At this location, you light the fire yourself, giving your visit a wonderfully traditional feel and letting you control the heat exactly the way you like it. Between the hot rounds, you have direct access to the water for a refreshing dip in the lake while taking in the beautiful surroundings of Norwegian nature.

The door code will be available 30 minutes before your booking, giving you extra time to get the fire going in the stove.
