    Grimen opens, Christmas Eve with firewood and matches

    A wood-fired sauna by Lake Grime in Nesttun. No staff, no reception, just an SMS code and faith that people could find calm on their own. Two days before Christmas.

  • Winter–spring 2025

    Kjøkkelvik, something no one had built in Norway

    Real Himalayan salt walls, right by the sea in Loddefjord. Halotherapy and hot-cold ritual in the same breath.

    Norway's only sauna of its kind.

    Locations multiply along the coast

    Hjellestad, Lillesotra, Florvåg, Ytre Arna, Osterøy, Husnes. Each spot chosen where nature is at its strongest.

    Always open from six o'clock. Always self-service.

    Always close to water.

    Over 60 investors, ordinary people

    When it was time to raise capital, we opened up to everyone. Bathers, Bergeners and neighbours invested their money.

    Vestfjord Sauna is owned by the same people who use it.
