Wet Sauna and Fjord

Sauna warms the body, increases blood circulation and helps muscles relax. The body sweats and gets rid of waste products, and many experience deep relaxation, better sleep and reduced stress. The heat gives a feeling of lightness and peace – both physically and mentally.
Salt rooms (halotherapy) involve breathing in microscopic salt particles in dry air, which can cleanse the airways and relieve conditions such as asthma, bronchitis and allergies. It has also proven beneficial for the skin and can contribute to better balance in body and mind.

Using salt in the sauna provides not only a pleasant experience, but also a natural form of skin care. When you scrub your body with mineral salt in warm surroundings, dead skin cells are removed while blood circulation is stimulated. The result is softer, smoother and fresher skin - without the use of artificial additives.
Sauna salt can also help cleanse pores, reduce impurities and give the skin a light glow. The physical touch of the scrub combined with the heat from the sauna gives a feeling of renewal, wellness and inner peace. For many, it's a simple but effective way to take care of both body and mind.
